2×2 Center Basket Troffer 30W Max (3X-Wattages + 3X-CCT)
2×2 Center Basket Troffers fit into 2-ft. x 2-ft. drop ceiling grids as part of new lighting installations or as replacements for fluorescent troffers of the same size. They use significantly less energy than fluorescent troffers and have built-in LED arrays so there are no light bulbs to install or replace. The 2 x 2 size is commonly used to light conference rooms, private offices, and partitioned spaces where larger fixtures would provide too much direct light. Sometimes called flat panels, these slim fixtures are typically recessed into the ceiling so that the majority of the fixture is concealed for a clean look that doesn’t draw attention to the fixture. The height of the panel must be less than the height above the ceiling for a proper fit within a recess. The center-basket lens of these LED panels has a curved middle section that reflects light to disperse it across a wider area than a flat lens. It also softens lighting to reduce harshness. Also known as volumetric fixtures, panels with a center-basket lens have a more appealing design than panels with a flat lens. Lumen- and color-temp-selectable LED panels have inner switches for choosing light output and color tone settings to suit a room or application. The lumen switch has different brightness settings for selecting the light output. The color temperature switch has different Kelvin (K) settings for selecting the hue or tone of the light (e.g., 3500 K for warm white, 4000 K neutral white, 5000 K for daylight).
