Key Features

Shaft Construction

• Material: Fabricated from premium structural steel tubing.
• Strength: Meets or exceeds ASTM-A-501-68 standards with a minimum yield strength of 46,000 PSI.
• Wall Thickness: Comes in your choice of 11 GA (.120 wall) or 7 GA (.180 wall), depending on the needs of your project.
• Ground Lug: Includes a pre-installed ground lug located inside the pole, opposite the hand hole, for added convenience during installation.

Hand Hole Cover

• Access and Security:
  • Poles 15 feet and above include a 2 5/8” x 4 5/8” reinforced access opening with a rectangular 3” x 5” heavy-gauge aluminum cover for strong and secure wiring access.
  • Poles under 15 feet have a 2¼” x 4¼” access opening with the same durable cover.
• Tamper-Proof Design: Hand hole cover is sealed with a formed aluminum bar and secured using a stainless-steel, tamper-proof screw for added safety and ease of maintenance.

Base Plate

• Material: Fabricated from structural-quality hot rolled steel.
• Design: Circumferentially welded to the pole shaft for stability, with slotted bolt holes allowing for 1” flexibility on either side of the bolt circle centerline.
• Strength: Exceeds a minimum yield strength of 36,000 PSI, providing a solid foundation for enhanced performance.

Anchorage

• Anchor Bolts: Supplied with (4) hot-rolled steel anchor bolts with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 PSI.
• Design Features: Bolts include an "L" bend on one end and are threaded on the other. Fully galvanized to resist corrosion, with two nuts and two washers included for each bolt.

Base Cover

• Material: Made of heavy-gauge carbon steel.
• Polished Appearance: Two-piece cover conceals the base for a clean and professional finish.

Finish

• Durable Coating: Features a TGIC Polyester Powder Coat that is electrostatically applied for even coverage and maximum protection.
• Preparation Process: Includes a four-step pretreatment process:
  1. Cleaned with a 140°F power wash at 20 PSI.
  2. Media-blasted for a smooth surface that ensures paint adhesion.
  3. Treated with iron phosphate for added resistance to corrosion.
  4. Baked at 400°F to achieve optimal hardness and durability.
• Customizable Options: Available in a variety of finishes to complement the design of your project.
